Composite Products - Assembly Bill of Materials – Tagrain in the Integration Hub

Composite Products are created by combining more than one product and are sold as one single unit. These products are not stocked and the inventory of the products contained in them is reduced at the point of sale. For example, an evening dress composite could have an evening gown + a nice watch + a coat. Whenever this Composite Product is sold at the Web Register, the stock of the gown, the watch, and the coat is reduced by one each.

The assembly bill of materials in SAP Business One will integrate as a Composite product in Tagrain. The integration of composites products is unidirectional (in other words, from SAP Business One to Tagrain).

The application supports the add/update operation on the assembly bill of materials.

To synchronize the assembly bill of materials from SAP Business One to Tagrain, in the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose Production → Bill of Materials. 

On BOM Type as Assembly, press Integration HUB button. On the Integration Hub window, choose the Sync button.

The following fields have been added to the Integration Hub window and are relevant to the Integration Hub.

Displays the name of the Tagrain template.

Cross Reference Code 

Displays the Tagrain composite product internal id.   

Sync

Select this checkbox to synchronize the assembly bill of material from SAP Business One to Tagrain. 


Set Bulk assembly BOM for Synchronization 

To Synchronize bulk assembly BOM from SAP Business One to Tagrain, select assembly BOM in bulk using the Set BOM for Synchronization menu under Integration Hub. 

  1. Choose Administration → Integration Hub → Set BOM for Synchronization.
  2. On clicking the Set BOM for Synchronization, Set BOM for Synchronization-Selection Criteria window opens. 
  3. Select the Tagrain Template and product range and click on the Ok button. 
  4. Set BOM for Synchronization window opens, select Sync check box for the Product No. and Product Description to synchronize. 
  5. Click on the Update button to mark the BOM for synchronization from SAP to Tagrain.
