This feature restricts the creation of sales documents for customers and prompts a warning message according to the following parameters setup on the BP tab of the General Settings window in SAP Business One.
A warning message will appears if <the customer's consolidated account balance> + <the amount of the current document> exceeds the customer's consolidated credit limit.
Process
To setup the consolidated credit limit check you must perform the following tasks:
The following fields have been added to the Business Partner Master Data window, Payment Terms tab and are relevant to the Intercompany Integration Solution.

From the dropdown list, select the currency code for the consolidated credit limit. |
Consolidated Credit Limit |
Define the consolidated credit limit across all branch companies. The value will be used to validate the credit limit when posting marketing documents. |
Select the types of documents to which you want to apply the restrictions (a warning message will be launched):
- A/R Invoice
- Delivery
- Sales Order
Once you have undertaken the above-mentioned setups, the solution would be able to prompt a consolidated credit limit warning message while adding a sales document.
