Initialization Process of Dynamics 365 Sales in the Integration Hub

Once the Dynamics 365 Sales feature is enabled in SAP Business One, it is mandatory to initialize the objects to be integrated between SAP Business One and Dynamics 365 Sales. The objects include Account, Contact, Product and Lead.

Note

Account Type settings in Account Type to be Integrated with SAP Business One in General Settings Tab should be configured in SAP Business One before initiating the initialization. 

To Initialize Account, Contact, Product and Lead, choose Administration  Integration Hub  Dynamics 365 Sales Settings → Synchronization. Choose the Initialize button on Synchronization tab.

 

The Synchronization tab of Dynamics 365 Sales window contains the following fields:

Field Name

Description

Object Type





Displays the list of objects available for synchronization between SAP Business One and Dynamics 365 Sales. The list of objects is: 

  1. Account
  2. Contact
  3. Lead
  4. Opportunity
  5. Sales Quotation
  6. Sales Order 

Run


Select the frequency of automation run from the dropdown i.e. Daily or Weekly or Never. 


On



Select the weekday on which the synchronization should run.

Note

The selection is available only for weekly type run only.

Hour

Choose the Hour frequency at which the synchronization should run.

Minute


Choose the Minute frequency at which the synchronization should run.

Initialize



Choose the Initialize button to synchronize the object data between SAP Business One and Dynamics 365 Sales.

Note

Initialize button is active until clicked for the first time. Once the initialization is done, the Initialize button is disabled. 

Set Customers for Synchronization 

Select this button to mark Customers synchronization from SAP business One to Dynamics 365 Sales.

Set Items for Synchronization

Select this button to mark bulk items synchronization from SAP business One to Dynamics 365 Sales.


Click on the Initialization Status button to view the initialized status of the data replication between Dynamics 365 Sales and SAP Business One. 


Note

The Initialize button is active until the initialization is done for the first time. Once the initialization is done, close the Dynamics 365 Sales Settings window and reopen it, the Initialize button is disabled and Sync Now and Save Schedule button is enabled. All the products created later will be integrated between both the systems based on scheduled synchronization or manual synchronization.
