Product Master Data – Tagrain in the Integration Hub

Product Master Data – Tagrain in the Integration Hub

The Integration Hub supports the integration of existing product data as well as new product data between both applications. In other words, product synchronization between SAP Business One and Tagrain is bidirectional.

Tagrain products for which the Non Stock is selected are marked as non-inventory items in SAP Business One.

The Item Code in SAP Business One is mapped with the product code in Tagrain for integration.

The application supports the add/update operation on the product master.

To synchronize products from SAP Business One to Tagrain, in the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose Inventory  Item Master Data. On the Integration Hub tab, choose the Sync button.

The following fields have been added to the Item Master Data window and are relevant to the Integration Hub. For details of other fields on the Item Master Data window, refer to the SAP Business One online help.

Standard Products

The integration of standard products is bidirectional between Tagrain and SAP Business One. The SAP Business One product other than serial and batch managed are considered as a Standard product in Tagrain.

Serial Products

The integration of serial products is bidirectional between Tagrain and SAP Business One. In SAP Business One, the serial product has Manage Item by field values as Serial Numbers and in Tagrain the serial product has Product Type field value as Serial. The corresponding values are set on replication between both the application.

Batch Products

The integration of batch products is bidirectional between Tagrain and SAP Business One. In SAP Business One, the batch product has Manage Item by field values as batch and in Tagrain the batch product has Product Type field value as Batch. The corresponding values are set on replication between both the application.

Variant Products

The integration of variant products is unidirectional (in other words, from Tagrain to SAP Business One). Variants can be added to a product that comes in more than one attribute, such as size or color. Each combination of attributes for a product is a variant of that product.

For example, a user sells t-shirts with two attributes: size and color. The size attribute has three values: small, medium, and large. The color attribute has two values: blue and green. One specific variant from these attributes is a small, blue t-shirt.

Each variant is integrated as a separate item in SAP Business One.

Gift Card

A gift card can also be sold to a customer via Tagrain (in other words, a customer can purchase a gift card like a regular item). The customer is emailed a gift voucher that can be given to someone or redeemed next time while making payment.

Whenever a gift card is added in Tagrain, it is integrated as a non-inventory item in SAP Business One and also, a new gift card entry is added in the Payment Mapping window.

In the Payment Mapping window, the user needs to map the relevant credit card against the gift card. This credit card will be used for posting the gift card payments in SAP Business One.

Product Prices

The price integration between SAP Business One and Tagrain is bidirectional. The application uses the default price list defined in the General Settings for Tagrain to integrate the product base prices from SAP Business One to Tagrain.

To open the Tagrain General Settings, in the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose Administration  Integration Hub  Tagrain Settings → General Settings tab.

The price list selected in the Default Price List for Base Price field is the integrated price list to update product base prices from SAP Business One to Tagrain.

The Store wise pricing is managed by mapping the prices list against each store in the Store Mapping window in SAP Business One.

To open the Tagrain Store Mapping window, in the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose Administration  Integration Hub  Tagrain Settings → Store Mapping tab.

  Note

You must manually ensure that the price list currency must be matched with Tagrain Store currency.
