Products Master Data – Salesforce in the Integration Hub

The System supports the integration of existing product data from Business One to Salesforce. Product add & update operations are supported from SAP Business One to Salesforce. 

The Item Code in SAP Business One is mapped with Stock Keeping Unit (SKU), Prices and Product Code in Salesforce for integration. Product Synchronization from SAP Business One and Salesforce is uni-directional. 

To synchronize the product from SAP Business One to Salesforce, choose Main Menu →Inventory → Item Master Data. Choose Sync in the Integration Hub Tab.

The following field has been added to the window and is relevant to the Integration Hub. For details of other fields on the Item Master Data window, refer to the SAP Business One Online Help.

Field Name

Description

Template Name

Displays the Name of the Salesforce Template.

Cross Reference Code 

Displays the Salesforce Product ID for the product.

Sync

Select this checkbox to synchronize the product information from SAP Business One to Salesforce. 

 Caution

Product deletion from Salesforce and SAP Business One is not supported. If deleted product is used in transaction, then inconsistency in data will be observed. 


Product

The integration of products is Unidirectional from SAP Business One to Salesforce.


Product Prices

The prices integration is uni-directional from SAP Business One to Salesforce. The application uses the price list defined in the Price list tab of Salesforce to integrate the prices from SAP Business One to Salesforce. Retrieve Price Book button retrieves the list of Salesforce Price Books from Salesforce to SAP Business One. 

To open Price List Tab in Salesforce, go to Administration → Integration Hub → Salesforce Settings → Price List.  

The mapped price list prices for the item is the integrated from SAP Business One to Salesforce. 

Note

​If Multiple currencies are enabled in salesforce setting screen, three prices mapped in Item Master will be updated/replicated in Salesforce product master. 

For example -  Primary currency –USD, Additional currency 1 – EUR and Additional Currency 2-CAD will be mapped under the price book of Salesforce as per the mapping done in Salesforce settings screen.
