Shipment Tracking Number Retrieval in UPS in the Integration Hub


Shipping Tracking Number automatically updates the tracking number from UPS when the delivery document is added.  If the solution fails to update the tracking number while updating the freight amount, the solution provides the flexibility to fetch the tracking number by choosing Get Tracking No. button in the Delivery window. 


To get the Tracking Number:

  1. In SAP Business One, choose Main Menu → Sales A/R → Delivery. Complete the Delivery document and click on Add Button. 

Specify all the information as mentioned in the steps of Get Freight Quote.

  1. A pop up displays a message You cannot change this document after you have added it. Continue? Click on Yes to continue.
  2.  A tracking number is generated. 
  3. Alternatively Click on Get Tracking Number button on the Delivery document, if delivery document is already added.  
  4. Copy the tracking number and track the Package in UPS site at URL https://www.ups.com/track?loc=en_US&requester=ST/


The Tracking Number is generated only when customer phone number is updated for in Business Partner Master Data and address is verified.
