WDF 2450004 - The "Romanian" language is not available in the Custom Language Tool

Symptom

The custom language "Romanian" is not available in the Custom Language Tool to upload the Romanian language resource string for the application graphical user interface (GUI) in SAP Business One.

Reproducing the issue

Prerequisites

You are using Intercompany Integration Solution version 45.

 

Scenario:

The custom language "Romanian" is not available in the Custom Language Tool to upload the Romanian language resource string for the application graphical user interface (GUI) in SAP Business One.

To open the Custom Language Tool in SAP Business One, in the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose Administration → Integration Hub → Custom Language Tool.

Expected Result:

The custom language "Romanian" is available in the Custom Language Tool.

Actual Result:

The custom "Romanian" language is not available in the Custom Language Tool

Workaround:

Download the addon hotfix version 45.6 from here.

Note:

1. The short name for the "Romanian" custom language must be defined as its ISO language code, 'RO' in Language setup in SAP Business One. The "Related System Language" must be Romanian.

To open the Language Setup in SAP Business One, in the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose Administration → Setup → General → Language.

2. Resource strings for the Romanian language are available in the English language. You can download the English strings and upload the Romanian language strings.

Solution

The issue described above will be fixed in the Intercompany integration solution version 53 for SAP Business One, and higher versions.
