WDF 2520033 - Misrepresentation of the Receiver Object in the Intercompany Message Log for Delivery to GRPO document exchange

Symptom

Misrepresentation of the Receiver Object in the Intercompany Message Log for Delivery to Goods Receipt PO document exchange if the DI error occurred in creating a direct firm document.

Reproducing the issue
Prerequisites

You are using Integration Solution version 52.0.

Scenario:

Misrepresentation of the Receiver Object in the Intercompany Message Log for Delivery to Goods Receipt PO document exchange. The following steps reproduce the issue:

1. Enable the "Direct Creation of Firm Document" setting for the Goods Receipt PO document in the Intercompany General Settings of the receiving company.
2. Set the "Unique Serial Numbers by" option to Serial Numbers in SAP General Settings.
3. Select a serial-managed global item in the Delivery document.
4. Choose a serial number for the item in the Delivery document that is already available in the receiving company.
5. Add the Delivery document.
6. The firm GRPO document fails with a DI Error, but a draft GRPO is still created in the receiving company.
7. Updating the Delivery document created in Step 5 updates the draft GRPO but incorrectly displays success in the Intercompany Message Log instead of reflecting the failed transaction.

Expected Result:

While updating the Delivery document, the Receiver Object (GRPO) is displayed correctly in failure log of the Intercompany Message Log.

Actual Result:

Misrepresentation of the Receiver Object in the Intercompany Message Log for Delivery to GRPO document exchange.

Workaround:

1. Attached zip file is to be imported via BizStore Import of Control Center.

  A. From your existing environment take the backup of "com.sap.b1i.dev.scenarios.design" file as per the backup process below:
  To take the backup of the package file, perform the following steps:
  1. Login into Integration Framework 2.0.
  2. Goto Tools -->Control Center --> Maintenance -->BizStore Export.
  3. In the Exporting Content from BizStore, In the selection critera. Select the Dataset button.
  4. In the Choose Dataset, Choose Value "com.sap.b1i.dev.scenarios.design", Choose Group "CXS.IC"  and then press Submit button.
  5. Save the file in the relevant folder.
  B. Perform the following steps to import the Package file:
  1. Login into Integration Framework 2.0.
  2. Goto Control Center --> Maintenance -->BizStore Import.
  3. In the Importing Content to BizStore, In the selection critera. In the Choose Archive, select the Choose File button. 
  4. Select the package file "com.sap.b1i.dev.scenarios.design.zip".
  5. Select the checkbox Assume File System-Friendly Naming and then Submit.
  C. Login into Intercompany Administration Console, navigate to the Landscape, and redeploy the IC solution.

2. Download the ICO Version 52 Hotfix Add-On 52.4 from here.

Solution

The issue described above will be fixed in the Intercompany Integration Solutions version 54 and higher versions.
