WDF 2540016 - Support for the User Defined Fields (UDFs) integration in Magento connector

The Magento connector now supports the integration of User Defined Fields (UDFs) between the Magento and SAP Business One applications, allowing businesses to map and synchronize custom data fields between Magento and SAP Business One. This functionality enables users to seamlessly link UDFs that share the same length, datatype, and structure across both applications, ensuring a smooth and efficient data exchange. By leveraging this feature, businesses can maintain consistency in custom fields such as additional product attributes, customer information, and order details, reducing the need for manual data entry and minimizing errors.

With this enhancement, users can configure UDF mapping through an intuitive interface, making it easier to align Magento’s custom fields (Attributes) with SAP Business One. This capability is especially beneficial for e-commerce businesses that rely on custom data points to track and manage operations more effectively. This prevents data inconsistencies, improves inventory management, and ensures that businesses always have accurate and up-to-date records. Additionally, the automation of UDF synchronization reduces the risk of human errors, allowing businesses to focus more on strategic growth rather than manual data handling.

The Magento connector supports the integration of User Defined Fields (UDFs) on the Products object.

To display the UDF Integration window, choose Administration → Integration Hub → UDF Integration.

 Note:

1. The user needs to ensure that they have mapped the correct UDFs with the same data type, length, and structure between the applications.
2. In case, you do not want to integrate UDF information between the applications, you may delete the relevant row. Once the row is deleted, the UDF information will no longer be integrated during the initialization and synchronization process.
3. User-Defined Fields (UDFs) in SAP Business One that have the Linked to Entities validation will not be displayed in the SAP User Defined Fields (UDF) column in the UDF Integration Mapping screen.
4. The internal ID of the valid value for the Select attribute in Magento must precisely match the valid value in SAP Business One.
