Symptom
Masters are not replicated to the specific branches configured in Global Data Distribution via the Service Layer. Instead, the Intercompany solution replicates them to all branch companies. The following are the masters:
1. Item
2. Business Partner
3. Bill of Materials
4. Price List
Reproducing the issue
Prerequisites
You are using Integration Solution version 54.0.
Scenario
Masters replicated to all branches instead of targeted branches in Global Data Distribution via the Service Layer. The following are the steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Select specific branch companies for master data replication.
2. Enable replication via the Service Layer.
3. Create a Global data Distribution template and select a few branch companies.
4. Add or update master data (e.g., Item Master Data, Business Partner Master Data) along with the Distribution template created in step 3.
5. Observe that the masters are replicated across all branch companies, instead of only to the selected branches.
Expected Result
The master data is replicated only to the selected branches configured in Global Data Distribution when using the Service Layer.
Actual Result
The master data is replicated to all branches instead of targeted branches in Global Data Distribution via the Service Layer.
Solution
The issue described above has been fixed in the Intercompany Integration Solutions version 55 and higher versions.
