Symptom
User-Defined Field (UDF) information is not being replicated on certain objects when using the Service Layer. The affected objects are as follows:
1. Business Partners
2. Items
3. ProjectCodes
4. ItemGroups
5. PriceLists
6. Purchase Order - Sales Order
7. Delivery - Goods Receipt Purchase Order
8. AR Invoice - AP Invoice
Reproducing the issue
Prerequisites
You are using Integration Solution version 54.0.
Scenario
User-Defined Field (UDF) information is not being replicated on a few objects via the Service Layer. The following are the steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Define the UDF(s) on specific objects (like Item Master Data) across the companies.
2. Register the UDFs under the UDF data replication in the Intercompany Administration Console.
3. Select the Item Master under the Replication Method for the Service Layer.
4. Add or update, along with some information in the registered UDF, an Item Master Data record to replicate.
5. Observe that the UDF information is not replicated for some objects.
Expected Result
All defined UDF values should replicate correctly across the connected systems via the Service Layer.
Actual Result
The UDF values are not replicated for certain objects via the Service Layer.
Solution
The issue described above has been fixed in the Intercompany Integration Solutions version 55 and higher versions.
