Initialization Process Magento in the Integration Hub


Once the Magento feature is enabled in SAP Business One, it is mandatory to initialize the objects to be integrated between SAP Business One and Magento. The objects include Products, Inventory, Customer, Customer Group, Period and Volume Discount.


Note

Weight UOM code of Magento and SAP Business One should be same.


Caution

If Customer Groups already exist in Magento, then manually create groups in SAP Business One with same name as in Magento


To Initialize Customer, Product and Inventory, choose Administration  Integration Hub  Magento Settings → Synchronization. Choose the Initialize button on Synchronization tab.


The Synchronization tab of Magento window contains the following fields:

Field Name

Description

Object Type





Displays the list of objects available for synchronization between SAP Business One and Magento. The list of objects is: 


    1. Customer
    2. Inventory
    3. Period and Volume Discount
    4. Sales Order

Run


Select the frequency of automation run from the dropdown i.e. Daily or Weekly or Never. 


On



Select the weekday on which the synchronization should run.

Note

The selection is available only for weekly type run only.

Hour

Choose the Hour frequency at which the synchronization should run.

Minute


Choose the Minute frequency at which the synchronization should run.

Initialize



Choose the Initialize button to synchronize the object data between SAP Business One and Magento.

Note

Initialize button is active until clicked for the first time. Once the initialization is done, the Initialize button is disabled. 

Initialization Status

Select this button to view the Initialization Status. 

Set Items for Synchronization

Select this button to mark bulk items synchronization from SAP business One to Magento.


Click on the Initialization Status button to view the initialized status of the data replication between Magento and SAP Business One. 

 

Note

The Initialize button is active until the initialization is done for the first time. Once the initialization is done, close the Magento Settings window and reopen it, the Initialize button is disabled and Sync Now and Save Schedule button is enabled. All the products created later will be integrated between both the systems based on scheduled synchronization or manual synchronization
