Customer Master Data - Magento in the Integration Hub


The customer master data integration is unidirectional i.e. from Magento to SAP Business One. Customer Information like Name, E-mail, Billing and Shipping Address, and other details are integrated from Magento to SAP Business One. The customer in SAP Business One is added in the same customer group as in Magento. 

When the customer data is integrated from Magento to SAP Business One, the details such as Magento Customer ID is updated in both Card Code and Cross Reference Code in SAP Business One. On adding customer information from Magento to SAP Business One, the application uses currency configured in the General Settings of Magento.


The following actions for Customer Master Data are supported: 

  1. Add Customer- Add new customer information. The customer master addition is unidirectional i.e. from Magento to SAP Business One. 

Caution

Only those address will be integrated or updated which are edited through Magento Admin Panel.


  1. Update Customers- Edit existing customer information. The customer master update is unidirectional i.e. from Magento to SAP Business One.


Caution

Customer deletion from Magento will not be integrated to SAP Business One. 


To display the customer data which are synchronized from Magento to SAP Business One, choose SAP Business One Main Menu โ†’Business Partners โ†’Business Partner Master Data โ†’Integration Hub. 



The following fields has been added to the window and is relevant to the Integration Hub. For details of other fields on the Customer Master Data window, refer to the SAP Business One Online Help.

Field Name

Template Name

Displays the name of the Magento template.

Cross Reference Code 

Displays the Magento customer id.  


Message /Alert Overview 

Once the customer data is synchronized, Message /Alert Overview Inbox displays the transaction information in SAP Business One. The following information is displayed on the screen: 

  1. Sender System
  2. Sender Transaction Type
  3. Sender Transaction Number
  4. Receiver System
  5. Receiver Transaction Type 
  6. Receiver Transaction Number
  7. Action 
  8. Status
