Customer Master Data – Salesforce in the Integration Hub

The customer master data integration is bidirectional between Salesforce and SAP Business One. Customer Information like Name, E-mail, Billing, Shipping Address and Contacts, and other details are integrated from Salesforce to SAP Business One and vice-versa. 

When the Account is integrated from Salesforce to SAP Business One, the details such as Salesforce Account ID is updated in Cross Reference Code in SAP Business One. Salesforce Account Type is updated in Account Type in SAP Business One.  

The following actions for Customer Master Data are supported: 

  1. Add Customer- Add new customer information. The customer master addition is bidirectional between Salesforce and SAP Business One. 
  1. Update Customers- Edit existing customer information. The customer master update is bidirectional between Salesforce and SAP Business One.

Caution

Customer deletion from Salesforce will not be integrated to SAP Business One and vice-versa. 

To display the customer data which are synchronized from Salesforce to SAP Business One, choose SAP Business One Main MenuBusiness PartnersBusiness Partner Master Data Integration Hub. 

The customers from Salesforce will have Template Name as defined for Salesforce


 

The following fields has been added to the window and is relevant to the Integration Hub. For details of other fields on the Customer Master Data window, refer to the SAP Business One Online Help.

Field Name

Template Name

Displays the name of the Salesforce template.

Cross Reference Code 

Displays the Salesforce customer id.  

Account Type

Displays the Salesforce Account Type

Sync

Select Check-box to synchronize. 

Message /Alert Overview 

Once the customer data is synchronized, Message /Alert Overview Inbox displays the transaction information in SAP Business One. The following information is displayed on the screen: 

  1. Sender System
  2. Sender Transaction Type
  3. Sender Transaction Number
  4. Receiver System
  5. Receiver Transaction Type 
  6. Receiver Transaction Number
  7. Action
  8. Status


 

Contact Master Data

The Contact is bi-directional between Salesforce and SAP Business One. The Contact assigned to the Account in the salesforce is integrated to SAP Business One. Contact Information like First Name, Last Name, E-mail, Phone Number, Address, and other details are integrated between Salesforce and SAP Business One. 

 Caution

The Contact should be assigned to an Account for Integration. 

Note

In Salesforce contact, the first name and last name of two contact persons cannot be same for an account.
