Initialization Process of Shopify in the Integration Hub

Once the Shopify feature is enabled in SAP Business One, you need to initialize the integration of the objects between SAP Business One and Shopify. The objects include customer, products and inventory.

Note
Ensure that the weight UOM code in SAP Business One is the same as that in Shopify.

Note
If product or customer data is already existing in both the application before initialization, then you need to map their internal codes in SAP Business One. Use the Master Data Mapping Tool to map the Shopify customer or Products internal codes.

To initialize customer, product, and inventory objects, choose  Administration  → Integration Hub  →  Shopify Settings  →  Synchronization tab, and choose the  Initialize button.

                  The Synchronization tab in the Shopify window contains the following fields:





Field Name
Description
Object Type




Displays the list of objects available for synchronization between SAP Business One and Shopify.  The objects are as follows: 
1.Customer
2.Product
3.Order
4.Inventory
Run

Select the frequency of the automation run from the dropdown list ( Daily,   Weekly,  or  Never ).  
On


Select the weekday  on  which you want to run the synchronization.
Note
The selection is available only for a weekly type run.
Hour
Choose the  hour   frequency at which you want the synchronization to run.
Minute

Choose the  minute   frequency at which you want the synchronization to run.
Initialize


Choose the  Initialize button to synchronize the object data between SAP Business One and Shopify.
Note
The Initialize  button is active until chosen for the first time. Once the initialization is performed, the  Initialize button is disabled. 
Set Items for Synchronization
Choose this button to mark bulk items for synchronization from SAP business One to Shopify.

Choose the Initialization Status button to view the initialization status of the data replication between Shopify and SAP Business One. 
 

Note
The  Initialize button is active until the initialization is performed for the first time. Once the initialization is done, close the Shopify Settings window and reopen it, the  Initialize  button is disabled and Sync Now and Save Schedule button is enabled.  All products created after the initialization will be integrated between both systems based on the scheduled synchronization or manual synchronization
