The Integration Hub and Intercompany Solution are two different solutions. Both can be installed separately or together using the configuration available in the Integration Solutions installer.

To install the intercompany integration solution, you need to run the integration solutions installer. 

The integration solutions installer performs the following:

1. Upload the intercompany integration solution scenario package to SAP Integration Framework 2.0
   
2. Install the Intercompany Administration Console.
   

By default, the integration component for SAP Business One is installed on every instance of the SAP Business One server. If you are integrating SAP Business One companies running on multiple instances of SAP Business One servers, then you must install and configure the integration solutions scenarios on one instance of the integration component.

Recommendation

1. Use the SAP Integration Framework 2.0 running on the instance of the head office company’s SAP Business One server.
   
2. Ensure that you have installed the integration solutions add-on for all branch and consolidation companies.

Installing the Integration Solutions Installer

 Note

• The folder "SAP" in C:/Program Files is granted will "Full Permissions" for the logged-in user.

• Clear the user and the windows temp.

• Restart the B1if server followed by login into B1if, and then run the installer.

Follow the procedure below to install the Integration Solutions Installer:

1. Launch the Integration Solutions installer as Administrator by right-clicking the IntegrationSolutions.exe file.
   

The InstallShield wizard Welcome window appears.

2. In the InstallShield wizard Welcome window, choose the Next button.
   
3. In the Customer Information window, enter your user name and company name and choose the Next button.
   

4. In the Database Connection Parameters window, enter the following information and choose the Next button.

12. Database Type - Choose the database type from the dropdown list. Currently, only Microsoft SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019 and SAP HANA DB are supported 
    
13. Database server [The database server name is prepopulated by default.]
    
14. Tenant Database [Enter the tenant database name. This is needed for Database type SAP HANA running on SAP B1 10.0. ]
    
15. Port [The default port for the Microsoft SQL Server (1433) and default port for the SAP HANA DB (30015) is prepopulated in this field.]
    
16. Database name [Note that the database name is set by default to Landscape.] 
    
17.    User name
    
18.    Password
    

5. In the Solutions to be Installed window, Select the solutions to be Installed and choose the Next button.
   

1. Both (Intercompany Integration Solution and Integration Hub): Use this option to install the both Intercompany Integration Solution and Integration Hub Solution.
   


2. Intercompany Integration Solution: Use this option to install the Intercompany Integration Solution only.
   


3. Integration Hub: Use this option to install the Integration Hub only.

                   Note

                  Based on the option selected the installer uploads the scenario package to the SAP Integration Framework 2.0.

6. In the Connection Details and Installation Option window, enter the following information and choose the Next button.
   

1. Framework Server – The framework server name is displayed by default.
   


2. Framework HTTP Port – The default HTTP port for the framework server (8080) is displayed in this field.
   


3. Runtime User Name –The default runtime user name is B1iadmin.

                   Note

                  To ensure that the runtime user is active, check the B1iP Control Center.

             Note

            Entering an incorrect password for the runtime user six consecutive times will deactivate the runtime user. You can reactivate the runtime user in the B1iP Control Center.

             Note

            Upgrade of the intercompany integration solution from B1iF version 1.0 to B1iF version 2.0 must be done manually. To do so, in the Intercompany Administration Console, choose the Setup option in the top menu bar. In the left frame, choose the Landscape option, and on the Intercompany Landscape page, choose the Upgrade to B1iF 2.0 button.

7. To start the installation process, in the Ready to Install the Program window, choose the Install button.
   

8. Choose the Finish button. 
   

9. If the restart option is displayed in the window, select Yes, I want to restart my computer now and choose the Finish button.

Note

If any problems or errors arise during installation, the setup can be restarted in maintenance mode. Maintenance mode repairs all relevant components.
