Location Mapping of Shopify in the Integration Hub

Location Mapping of Shopify in the Integration Hub

Location mapping information is used to integrate inventory data from SAP Business One to Shopify.

A Shopify store can have multiple locations where inventory can be tracked and orders can be fulfilled. A Shopify location can be a retail store, warehouse, or any place to manage inventory. It is a physical place or an application where you can sell products, manage inventory, and fulfill orders.

Users need to map SAP Business One warehouses to the locations defined in Shopify. One warehouse is connected to one Shopify location. For example, if four locations are defined in Shopify (for instance, New York, Texas, California, and Florida), then these four locations need to be mapped with the warehouses in SAP Business One (for instance, warehouse 01, 02, 03, and 04).

You can, for example, map warehouse 01 of SAP Business One with the New York location of Shopify, warehouse 02 with Texas, warehouse 03 with California, and warehouse 04 with Florida.
You can map Shopify store locations to SAP Business One warehouses on the  Location Mapping   tab in the  Shopify  window in SAP Business One.

The Location Mapping tab in the Shopify window contains the following fields:
Field Name
Description
SAP Warehouse
Displays the list of SAP Business One warehouses.
Mapped to Shopify Location

Select the Shopify location to be mapped to the SAP Business One warehouse.
The location mapped is used for updating the inventory details in Shopify from SAP Business One.
Default Warehouse
Select one SAP Business One warehouse as default to any one Shopify location.
Retrieve Locations
Choose the  Retrieve   Locations button to pull the locations from Shopify.

Note
A Shopify location can have only one SAP Business One warehouse set as default. One Shopify location cannot be mapped to multiple SAP Business One warehouses.

  Note
When a web order integrates from Shopify to SAP Business One, the application uses the default warehouse at the sales order line level.

Note
If the multi-branch function is enabled in SAP Business One, the application uses the mapped warehouse branch at the document header and line-level while integrating the document from Shopify to SAP Business One.
