Payment Mapping of Shopify in the Integration Hub

Payment Mapping of Shopify in the Integration Hub

You can map Shopify payment methods on the  Payment Mapping   tab in the  Shopify window in SAP Business One.

When a customer checks out in Shopify, multiple choices for order payments are available. Payment can be done using any of the methods enabled in the payment provider’s area of Shopify. There are several ways for customers to pay online in addition to credit card, including PayPal, Amazon Pay, and Apple Pay.

Payment methods other than cash or cash on delivery (COD) are mapped with credit cards in SAP Business One. This mapped information is used to post the payment transaction against the order in SAP Business One.

A gift card can also be used as an alternative payment method. Each gift card has a unique code that needs to be entered during checkout. The balance of the gift card can be redeemed over multiple checkouts. The gift card is mapped with the credit card in SAP Business One.

The Shopify cash on delivery (COD) payment method is handled differently in SAP Business One than the other Shopify payment methods. The user needs to specify the COD payment method in the  General Settings window. When a payment transaction of COD payment type is integrated from Shopify to SAP Business One, the system generates the incoming payment with reference to the A/R reserve invoice and displays the order number in the  Reference fields available in the Incoming Payment  window.

The Payment Mapping tab in the Shopify window contains the following fields:
