Setting Up Data Replication of User Defined Tables (UDTs)

The UDT replication is only supported for branch and template companies.
  1. In the top menu bar of the Administration Console, choose the Preferences option.
  2. In the left frame, choose the UDT Data Replication option. 
  3. In the Retrieval section of the table, choose the (…) (Browse) button next to the Import button.
  4. In the selection window, in the Choose entry field, select a company from the dropdown list. Alternatively, to import user-defined tables from all branch companies, select ALL from the dropdown list and then choose the Select button.
  5. In the Retrieval section, choose the Import button. To view the data, choose the View button. 
  6. User-defined tables of Object Type "Master Data", "Master Data Rows", "Document", "Document Rows" and “No Object with Auto. Increment” will not be displayed in the list as Intercompany Solution does not support the replication of such user-defined tables.
  7. To prepare the list of common user-defined tables across the branch companies, in the Retrieval section, choose the Submit button. To view the data, choose the View button.
  8. In the Configuration section, choose the (…) (Browse) button next to user-defined table name.    
  9. In the selection window, in the Choose entry field, select a UDT from the dropdown list and then choose the Select button.
  10. The fields in the selected UDT are displayed.
  11. Only fields which meet the following criteria are displayed:
    1. Fields that contain the same name across all branch companies.
    2. Fields that contain the same data type across all branch companies.
    3. Fields that contain the same length across all branch companies.
    4. Fields that are not linked to System Object.
  12. In the Field name area, select the checkboxes for the fields which you want to register for replication.
    1. To select all fields, choose the Check All button. 
    2. To deselect all fields, choose the Uncheck All button.
  13. Choose the Save button.
    1. In the Registered field, the letter Y is displayed for fields which are registered for replication. 
    2. To remove a field from the list of UDTs for replication, select the UDT from the dropdown list and then choose the Select button.  In the UDT Replication table, deselect the checkbox for the field and then choose the Save button.

Note
User-Defined Objects (UDO's) replication is not supported by Intercompany Solution.
