WDF 2500022 - The license mismatch error may occur during the User Allocation if one of the company db name is contained in another company db name
Symptom
The following error for license mismatch may occur during the User Allocation for all the branch companies together if one of the databases name is contained in the name of another database in the landscape:
Reproducing the issue
Prerequisites:
You are using Walldorf Intercompany version 50 or lower.
Scenario:
The license mismatch error may occur during the User Allocation for all the branch companies together if one of the databases contains the name of another database in the landscape for example, the "ACME_NY" database name is contained in the name of "ACME_NYC" database.
Expected behavior:
The User Allocation process successfully executes when selecting "SAP B1 Company" as "ALL".
Actual behavior:
The license mismatch error may occur during the User Allocation if one of the databases is contained in the name of another database in the landscape.
Workaround 1:
The attached zip file is to be imported via BizStore Import of Control Center.
1. Login into B1iP Control Center.
2. Take the backup of "com.cxs.b1i.ipo". Navigate to MAINTENANCE --> BizStore Export and in the Dataset field, select "com.cxs.b1i.ipo" from the list, click on the Submit button, and save the zip file.
3. From the left menu, click BizStore Import.
4. In Import content to the BizStore in Selection criteria, Choose archive. Click on the Browse button.
5. Select the file path for the zip file attached here.
6. Select the "Assume File System-Friendly Naming" checkbox.
7. Click on the Submit button. A caution message will appear. Click on the OK button.
8. SAP B1iP Control Center shows the Import Status.
9. Click on the close button to close the Control Center.
Workaround 2:
The User Allocation process can be executed by selecting individual branch company in "SAP B1 Company" dropdown selection.
Solution
The issue described above will be fixed in the Intercompany Integration Solutions version 51 and higher versions.
