Symptom
The following error may occur during the deployment of the intercompany solution in the SQL environment:
com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The driver could not establish a secure connection to SQL Server by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. Error: "PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target".
Reproducing the issue
Prerequisites
You are using Intercompany Integration Solution version 50.
Scenario:
The following error may arise during the deployment of the intercompany solution in the SQL environment:
com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The driver could not establish a secure connection to SQL Server by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. Error: "PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target".
Expected Result:
The intercompany solution is successfully deployed.
Actual Result:
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption error may occur while deploying the intercompany solution
Solution
The issue described above has been fixed in the Intercompany integration solution PL51 for SAP Business One, and higher versions.
