WDF 2530003 - The document exchange cycle from Goods Return Request to Return Request is supported
The intercompany solution supports a new additional document cycle, the Goods Return Request to Return Request in the intercompany trade.
The solution supports the creation of a draft or firm Return Request in the receiver company. This automation not only simplifies the workflow but also ensures accuracy and consistency in the creation of the documents.
The user has the option to create the Goods Return Request, whether as a standalone document or linked to Goods Receipt PO or A/P Invoice. The solution automates the generation of a corresponding draft or firm Return request in response to the Goods Return Request, ensuring a synchronized and error-free document exchange.
Note: The Goods Return Request to Return Request document exchange cycle is optional. You need to enable it in the company template.
The support for Goods Return Request to Return Request in the intercompany solution represents a significant advancement in the solution's capabilities. This enhancement empowers organizations to optimize their operations and enhance the overall intercompany transaction experience.
The UDF Data Replication functionality is enhanced for Goods Return Request to Return Request document exchange:
The seamless flow of data within the document processes extends to the user-defined fields (UDF) in our system. Regarding Goods Return Request, the UDF information is thoughtfully replicated to its corresponding Return Request, echoing the established pattern seen in the replication of UDF information from Goods Return to Return document exchange. Once the UDF has been successfully registered within the system, it unlocks a realm of possibilities for the user.
Intercompany Reports enhancement:
The following reports are enhanced for Goods Return Request to Return Request document exchange:
1. Unposted InterCompany Transactions
2. Intercompany Transaction Report
Furthermore, providing robust reporting, it extends to the Unposted Intercompany Transaction report. This report has been enhanced to include unposted intercompany transactions of the Return Request document.
The transaction details stemming from the Goods Return Request to Return Request are meticulously documented in the Intercompany transaction report. This report serves as a consolidated record, capturing the intricate interplay between these two financial documents, facilitating transparency and accountability in cross-entity transactions.
