Symptom
Two alert messages are displayed in SAP Business One—one indicating an error and another indicating success for a single transaction processed through the RFQ Connector.
The following is the error message for the failed transaction:
Error when sending RFQ document. SMTP address is missing for SAP Business One user.
Reproducing the Issue
Prerequisites
- You are using Integration Hub version 55.0 or lower.
- The RFQ connector is deployed.
Scenario
1. Trigger a transaction through the RFQ Connector.
2. Allow the transaction to process in SAP Business One.
3. Open the Alert Messages screen.
4. Observe that two alert messages are generated for the same transaction—one showing an error and another showing success.
Expected Result
Only one alert message is displayed for a single transaction, reflecting the final processing status, either success or failure.
Actual Result
Two alert messages are generated for the same transaction—one indicating success and another indicating an error.
Solution
The user needs to deselect the RFQ scenario in SAP B1if 1.x by following the steps below:
- Log in to SAP B1if 1.x and navigate to the Scenarios section.
- Select Control and locate the scenario “sap.B1RFQ”.
- Go to Setup and click the Deactivate button to deactivate the scenario.
