Symptom
The Intercompany add-on displays a validation message when Non-breaking space is selected as the digit grouping symbol in the operating system's regional settings, even if the thousands separator in the SAP Business One Display Settings is configured as a regular space.
"The decimal or thousand separator setting of the operating system for currency and number do not match with SAP's decimal and thousand separator settings. You are required to match them exactly and restart SAP Business One."
Reproducing the Issue
Prerequisites
You are using Intercompany Integration Solution version 56.0.
Scenario
1. Configure the operating system's Regional Settings to use a non-breaking space (space) as the digit grouping symbol.
2. In SAP Business One, configure the Display Settings to use a regular space as the thousands separator.
3. Launch SAP Business One and connect the Intercompany add-on.
4. Observe that the add-on displays a validation message and fails to connect.
Expected Result
The Intercompany add-on should treat the Non-breaking space in the operating system and the regular space in SAP Business One Display Settings as compatible and should not display a validation message.
Actual Result
The add-on incorrectly displays a validation message, even though the operating system and SAP Business One settings are functionally compatible.
Workaround:
Download and apply the add-on hotfix version 56.1 from

Solution
