WDF 2570011 – Value too large error may occur while synchronizing the Allocation Account

Symptom

The following error may occur while synchronizing the Allocation Account from the participating companies:
SAP DBTech JDBC: [274]: inserted value too large for column: Failed in "U_CTX_ACNM" column with the value "Account - XXXXXXX"

Reproducing the Issue
Prerequisites

You are using Intercompany Integration Solution version 56.0 or lower.

Scenario

1. Maintain an account with a name exceeding 100 characters in a participating company.
2. Trigger the Allocation Account synchronization process.
3. Observe that the synchronization fails with the “inserted value too large for column” error.

Expected Result

The Allocation Account is synchronized successfully from the participating companies.

Actual Result

The synchronization fails with the following error: “SAP DBTech JDBC: [274]: inserted value too large for column”, referencing the U_CTX_ACNM column.

Solution

The length of the “U_CTX_ACNM” field has been increased to support up to 254 characters.

The issue described above has been fixed in Intercompany Integration Solutions version 57 and higher versions.
