Assumption:
1. You have one Shopify account and two SAP B1 databases one for Test and the other for the Production environment
2. You have the same items in both the Test and Production databases.
Steps to migrate the Shopify connector from the SAP test database to the production database:
1. Deactivate the Shopify connector in the Integration Hub deployed on the test database.
2. Install the Walldorf add-on in the production database.
3. Deploy the Shopify connector on the production database.
4. Configure the Shopify Settings in SAP Business One.
5. Take the backup of the SAP production database
6. Now, you have two options to integrate the items from the SAP database to the Shopify application:
i.) You can map the common items that exist in both SAP Business One and Shopify applications by using the Master data mapping tool.
OR
i.) Delete the items in the Shopify account that already exist in SAP Business One (production database). All the items will be initialized again during the initialization process.
ii.). Select the "Sync" checkbox in the "Integration Hub" tab on the Item master in SAP Business One or you can select items in bulk using the "Set Items for Synchronization" menu in the Integration Hub.
7. If the common customers also exist in both SAP and Shopify applications then similarly you can map by using the Master data mapping tool.
8. Go to Shopify settings in SAP Business One and Initialize the solution.
Note:
1. If the stock synchronization is enabled, then the stock will get updated from the Production database and it will overwrite the stock if already exists in the Shopify application.
2. The transaction will start replicating from the initialization date onwards.
