Upgrading the Intercompany Solution from B1if 1

Upgrading the Intercompany Solution from B1if 1.x to B1if 2.0

For migration from B1if Version 1.x to B1if Version 2.0 please refer to the clip – Migration of the Intercompany Integration Solution to B1if Version 2.0 

Migration Process:
  1. Import the mandatory package to run the Intercompany solution on B1if 2.0 (PL09) as mentioned in the SAP Note 2779982. 
  2. Restart the SAP Business One Event Inbound Service of the Integration Framework before deploying the solution in Integration Framework 2.0.
  3. To open the SAP Business One Event Inbound Service, In the top menu bar of Integration Framework 2.0, Choose the Monitoring option. In the Left frame choose the Service Monitor option.


In Integration Services – Monitor, Choose the icon (Configure Integration Service), Integration Service Setup screens appears. 
In the Integration Service Setup , choose the icon to Deactivate the service. And click again on this icon to Activate the service.


Define the SLD category.
To create the SLD category, follow the steps below:
In the top menu bar of the Administration Console, choose the SLD option.
On the left frame of the SLD page, Right click on B1i Server and choose the Create Category option.
Caution
Ensure that the category name does not contain any alphanumeric character, spaces or special characters, hyphen (-) or an underscore (_), and it does not start with numeric character.

After creating the category, assign the SLD entries under the category.
Note
Assign only the SLD entries under the category that you would like to configure in the Intercompany Landscape. 



Once SLD Category is created and the SLD’s are defined under the category, select the relevant category in the SLD Category field in the Company Registration page of Intercompany Landscape. 
      
      Note
I. Before renaming the SLD Category, please ensure you have deactivated the Walldorf License.
II. To rename the deployed SLD category, you need to deactivate the solution, then delete the deployment and then rename the SLD category.
To upgrade the system from B1if 1.x to B1if 2.0, go to the Intercompany Landscape (In the Administration Console, in the top menu bar, choose the Setup option. In the left frame, choose the Landscape option).
In the company registration page, select the relevant SLD Category and choose the Upgrade to B1if 2.0 button.
On prompt window, choose OK.

Note
The application may take some time in the upgrade process.



After the upgrade process a restart of the Integration Services is required.
Relog to the Intercompany Integration Console, then choose the default SLD Category (In the Administration Console, in the top menu bar, choose the Setup option. In the left frame, choose the Select SLD Category option) and Choose Save.
This SLD category will be selected by default on each setup. Otherwise, you can select the required SLD Category on each setup.



Afterwards, perform the landscape setup steps as mentioned in the Landscape Knowledge Article.
