WDF 2342823 - How to use DTW to import mass data into SAP Business One in the Intercompany environment
Symptom
You have installed SAP Business One Intercompany Solution, however, you would like to use DTW to import mass data into different SAP Business One companies.
Solution
Prerequisites:
- Make sure no user is connected to any SAP Business One company throughout the import process.
- Make sure no records exist in SEVT table of SBO-COMMON database.
- Stop SAP Business One Integration Service and SAP Business One EventSender Service.
DTW Import Wizard Execution:
- Prepare template: in the DTW template, ensure that the field "U_CTX_REIC" has the value 'Y' for all the global item/business partner master data records.
- Open the DTW console and login into any one participating head office or branch company (not the consolidation company).
- Run the DTW wizard with the template for importing global items/business partner master data. Once the wizard is finished, close the DTW console.
- Perform steps 1 and 2 for all the other participating branch companies (except the consolidation company). And ensure that the same DTW template is processed in all the participating branch companies.
- Log in SQL Server Management Studio or HANA studio.
- Back up SBO-COMMON database
- Execute the query in SBO-COMMON database: DELETE FROM SEVT
Note! By using the update query you agree with liability conditions described in the following disclaimer: http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/PEQ/Home
